We are looking for experienced and motivated developers to join our engineering team of engaged full-stack developers with the end-to-end responsibility of building and operating our SaaS-based compliance management platform.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a developer with a full-stack and DevOps mindset who thrives writing code in Rust and C# as well as TypeScript and the React library. You may master the entire stack, or you may lean more towards the backend or frontend. We value craftsmanship, and it is important to us that you value writing well-crafted software that is secure and easy to maintain.

You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and work in close collaboration other developers, product management and design.

The Impero platform enables companies to easily manage compliance through  risk and control management, documentation, and reporting.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop solutions that deliver customer value every release cycle: You will be responsible for implementing features and improvements.
  • DevOps responsibility: You will take part in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our applications, ensuring seamless operation and quick resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Write well-crafted, safe, and maintainable code: Your role involves producing high-quality code that adheres to best practices in security and maintainability, contributing to the long-term stability and reliability of our platform.
  • Contribute to the flow of work in the team: You will actively participate in team processes, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This includes engaging in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Proactively address technical debt: Identifying and resolving areas of the codebase that require refactoring or improvement will be a key part of your role, helping to maintain a clean and efficient codebase.
  • Continuously improve our technology and how we work: Your role includes staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, advocating for and implementing improvements to both our technology stack and our development processes.

Your essential skills and experience

  • Experience: You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in web application development both front and backend.
  • Background: Familiarity with working in a cross-functional agile environment.
  • Technology Stack: Our web application is based on Rust, C#, and React hosted on Azure. Experience with some or all these technologies is mandatory for this role. Since Rust forms the core of our backend, the ideal candidate either has Rust-experience, or a strong track record with other languages and a desire to learn.
  • Desirable Experience: Background in start-up environments and enterprise product development is a plus.

Location

Denmark (on-site) at our office in Copenhagen.
