Position Overview
Impero is looking for a proactive, pragmatic, and motivated Product/UX Designer to join our product team.
This role is ideal for a designer early in their career who is eager to iterate on complex interfaces, push UI quality forward, and build a deep understanding of a B2B SaaS platform, while gradually growing into user discovery, interviews, and problem framing.
You will be part of the product team and report to the Head of Product. You will work closely with product managers and engineers, supporting product decisions through design and ensuring the platform continues to evolve with high usability, consistency, and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- UI and interaction design:You will design mockups, user flows, and detailed UI for new features and improvements across the platform. A large part of the role will initially focus on hands-on execution and iteration, working on complex B2B interfaces such as forms, tables, and workflows.
- Design system and consistency: You will work within and help evolve our design system, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across the product while balancing speed and quality.
- Collaboration with product and engineering: You will embed yourself in the product and engineering teams, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to translate requirements and problem statements into clear, usable design solutions while taking technical constraints into account. You will also provide ongoing design feedback during implementation to help ensure the developed solution matches the intended design and user experience.
- User understanding and discovery: You will participate in user interviews and usability testing together with product managers to understand real customer needs. You will help identify user pain points and contribute to shaping solutions, gradually taking on more responsibility in discovery and problem definition over time.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience working as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or other complex digital product environment.
- UI/UX: Solid understanding of layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to produce high-quality mockups and iterate efficiently.
- Tools: Strong proficiency in Figma, producing design deliverables ready for engineering handover and implementation. Experience using AI tools to work efficiently is considered a plus.
- Drive and ownership: High level of motivation, willingness to learn, and comfort working on both detailed design tasks and broader product challenges.
- Passion for customer value: Ability to incorporate customer insights and feedback into thoughtful design decisions that improve usability and clarity.
This role is based in our Copenhagen office and is primarily in person.
