Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for experienced and motivated developers to join our engineering team of engaged full-stack developers with the end-to-end responsibility of building and operating our SaaS-based compliance management platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a developer with a full-stack and DevOps mindset who thrives writing code for the backend (Rust) as well as frontend (TypeScript/React). You may master the entire stack, or you may lean more towards the backend or frontend. We value craftsmanship, and it is important to us that you value writing well-crafted software that is secure and easy to maintain.

You’ll report to an Engineering Manager and work in close collaboration with other developers, product management, and design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solutions that deliver customer value every release cycle: Implement features and improvements that make a real difference for our users. ‍
• DevOps responsibility: Take part in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our applications, ensuring seamless operation and quick resolution of any issues that arise.
• ‍Write well-crafted and maintainable code: Produce high-quality code that adheres to best practices in security and maintainability, contributing to the long-term stability and reliability of our platform.
• ‍Contribute to the flow of work in the team: Actively participate in team processes (code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving) and help to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• ‍Proactively address technical debt: Identify and resolve areas of the codebase that require refactoring or improvement, helping to maintain a clean and efficient codebase.
• ‍Continuously improve our technology and how we work: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, advocating for and implementing improvements to both our technology stack and our development processes.

Qualifications

• Experience: You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in web application development, both frontend and backend.
• ‍Background: Familiarity with working in a cross-functional agile environment.
• ‍Technology Stack: Our web application is based on Rust and React and is hosted on Azure. The candidate should have experience working across the full stack, from database and backend logic to the frontend. Since Rust forms the core of our backend, the ideal candidate either has Rust experience, or a strong track record with other languages and a desire to learn.
• ‍Desirable Experience: Background in start-up environments, B2B SaaS, and enterprise product development is a plus.
