Create and manage control testing programs directly in the Testing module. Define testing scopes, manage access rights, and design your tests.

Designate sampling groups

Set up sampling groups that make sense for your control testing. Designate samples as you see fit, whether it be new entities, regions or simply ensuring representative sampling.

Impero provides the ultimate flexibility to set up control testing in a way that makes sense for your organization. No rigid testing programs or unrealistic sampling groups. Design testing programs with a single or multiple controls and roll them out to the entities that make sense for you.

Control Testing Module - FAQs

Get answers to the most common feature and functionality questions our customers ask us about the Control Testing Module in the Impero platform.

  • How many controls can I test at a time?

You can either create a single test, or create tests in bulk. There is no limit to the number of tests that you can create in bulk.

  • Can I test the same control across multiple entities?

Yes, when creating a test – you can specify either one or multiple entities that should receive the test. Whether you want to send the test to one, 20 or 100s of entities, the Control Testing module makes it easy and effective.

  • Will the test check if the control is operational and/or designed properly?

That depends on how you design the control test. Just like in the Control Module, you’ll be able to design the test according to your preference. Add tasks and requirements that either account for operational effectiveness and/or design appropriateness.

  • Can I schedule my control tests?

Yes, just like in the Control Module – you'll have our handy scheduling tool built-in so that you can schedule when control tests should be sent out. In addition, you can define how long the responsible, as well as reviews, has to complete the control testing.

  • What criteria is the sampling based on?

It’s based on your preferred criteria. As part of the pre-work to sending out controls, you’ll be able to set up sample groups that make sense for your organization. This ensure that you can accurately conduct control test based on your organizational set up.
